Caitlyn Lee Taylor "Hanwi" (Sioux Moon Goddess), 18, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at her home. She was born June 9, 1995 in Dell Rapids, SD to Todd Taylor and Shawne Rislov. She attended Flandreau Public School. Caitlyn was very artistic and creative, passionate about music and enjoyed reading Native American mythology/culture. She was a very giving person, loved her siblings and friends, spending time with family and was a practical jokester. Caitlyn loved her cat Kiki, her dog Sunka, movies, documentaries, photography and taking nature walks. She liked driving and shooting sports with her dad, brother and uncle. Caitlyn did jingle dress dancing at Pow-Wows.

Caitlyn is survived by her parents, Todd Taylor (Andrea Anderson), Shawne Rislov (Dave Dwelle), all of Flandreau, sister Shaya Rislov (Kevin Fritz), Fargo, ND brother Dylan Taylor, Flandreau, grandparents, Marleen Swenson, Madison, SD, Lee Taylor, Kay and Gary Cohoon, all of Flandreau, niece Aryanna and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Odean Rislov.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, January 17, 2014 at Eastman Hall, Flandreau with burial in First Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation begins at 5:00 pm Thursday at Eastman Hall with an all night wake starting at 7:00 pm.
