Bret A. Engebretson, 30, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at his home in Flandreau. Bret was born on August 5, 1980 at Pipestone, MN to Paul and Joyce (Doerr) Engebretson. He was educated in Garreston. Bret received his GED from Southeast Tech in 2005. He worked at Dresen Trailers and Dakota Transformers as well as other various jobs throughout his life. Bret loved to play video games, watch movies, going to concerts and watching the LA Dodgers.

Bret is survived by his special friend, Amber Allen, Flandreau; his father, Paul Engebretson (Wini), Garretson; his mother, Joyce Engebretson (Brian),Sherman, SD; one brother, Randall Berghorst, Luverne; a sister, Stacey Karli, Luverne; many nieces and nephews and 6 uncles. Bret was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and an uncle, Randy Engebretson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau.
