IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bob
Keck
March 3, 1954 – September 9, 2020
Bob Keck, age 66, affectionately known as "Dodsley" or "Bobby" to some, passed away on September 9, 2020, in Florida. Bob was born in Flandreau, SD on March 3, 1954, to Everett and Jeanne Keck. He was an avid sports fan and participated in football and track in high school and helped set some school records. He was also a member of the band, loved playing the drums, and always joined the alumni band when he came back to visit. After high school, Bob attended Dakota State in Madison and graduated with a degree in education. After graduating, Bob went to California and eventually started working for a plastics import/export company, CalSak, that would last for the next 42 years. He worked in California, was transferred to Houston and then to King of Prussia, PA, where he met and married his wife, Annamarie, 30 years ago. Bob transferred to Atlanta in 1989, where he spent the majority of his time with the company. His last two years were spent in Jacksonville, FL, where he worked for a sister company until his retirement on March 31, 2020. Bob stayed physically active with swimming and doing different work-out routines. After his retirement, he took up mountain biking, which he really enjoyed. He and his neighbor went biking often together on many different trails in the area. On September 6, 2020, he was seriously injured in an accident while mountain biking and eventually passed away from his injuries. Bob was a friendly, kind and caring person and will be missed beyond words.
Bob is survived by his wife, Annamarie; sister, Kay, living in Illinois; brother, Tom and wife, Betty, living in Sioux Falls; a twin sister, Barb (Babs), living in California; nieces and nephews and six cousins.
Memorial services were held September 12, 2020 in St. Augustine, Florida.
