Obituary

Beverly Jean Kroeger, 80, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the Dougherty Hospice House. Beverly was born May 8, 1936, at Dent, MN, to Max and Louise (Fjellanger) Diller. She received her education in Dent and after her mother died she was raised by an aunt and uncle near Sherman, SD. Bev married Emil Kroeger on May 28, 1958 at Flandreau, SD. She babysat in Flandreau until they moved to Sioux Falls in 1971 where she continued to babysit for many years. Bev was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls, a former member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Flandreau, and enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, and playing cards.

Bev is survived by her husband Emil; two children, Darwin Kroeger and Patty Kroeger, both of Sioux Falls; two grandchildren, Kyle (Rachel) Kroeger, Kelsey Van Loh; one great-granddaughter Hannah; three brothers, Clifford (Sue) Diller, Pleasanton, CA; Clarence (Bea) Diller, Edgerton, MN; Bobby Diller, Madison, MN; one sister Donna (Dean) Haug, Madison, SD, and several nieces and nephews. Bev was preceded in death by a grandson Cole, her parents, sister Mable, and niece Beth.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Flandreau, with burial in Union Cemetery, Flandreau. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau.
