Beverly A. Bothe, 86, died Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Beverly was born on May 9, 1925 at Flandreau, SD to Jay and Wilma (Burdick) Bennett. She attended Bennett-Liberty School for 8 years and graduated from Flandreau High School in 1943. Bev attended Presentation College of Nursing in Aberdeen and McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. On August 23, 1945 she married Ervin Bothe in Pipestone, MN. They farmed near Aurora, SD for many years. She worked at the Flandreau Medical Clinic for Dr. B.T. Otey for 24 years. Ervin preceded in her in death on January 24, 2000. Bev was a lifelong member of Flandreau United Methodist Church where she was active in the UMW for over 50 years, a charter member of Trenton Troopers Extension Club, Rebekah member for 25 years and a member of Town and Country Club for over 20 years.

Beverly is survived by her children, Darrel (Judy) Bothe, Elkton, SD, Betty (Chuck) Tanck, Sioux Falls, SD; daughter-in-law, Barbara Bothe, Aurora; 6 grandchildren, Cathy Tanck, Sioux Falls, Carol Bothe (special friend Dave) Brandon, SD, Gary (Ginger) Bothe, Aurora, SD, Leslie (Anna) Bothe, Arlington, SD, Lance Bothe, Aurora, SD, Lyle (Jackie) Bothe, Aurora, SD; 12 great-grandchildren, Meghan Bothe (special friend Jeremy), Christopher Bothe, Ervin Bothe, Daniel Sickler, Sheldon Sickler, Garrett Bothe, Matthew Bothe, Justin Trygstad, Jasmine Walter, Nathan Bothe, Lyla Bothe; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Skyler and Citabria; a sister, Laurel (Harold) Fenske, Hankinson, ND and several nieces and nephews. Bev is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin; a son, Lawrence Bothe and her parents.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 10:30AM at Flandreau United Methodist Church with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, Brookings, SD. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8PM at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau.
