Beula E. Hay, 92, of Egan, SD died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Riverview Health Services, Flandreau. Beula was born November 9, 1919 in Codington County, SD to Ralph and Flora (Roberts) Mogle. The family moved to a farm east of Flandreau, SD when she was a child and she attended Moody County country schools. Beula married E. John Hay on May 21, 1947 at her parent's farm. They farmed southeast of Lone Tree on the Hay family farm until moving into Egan in 1983. Her husband preceded her in death on November 26, 2002. Beula was a member of Egan LCA and Egan Senior Citizens.

Beula is survived by three children, Bill (Connie), Colman, John (Jackie), Trent, Betty (Dave) Lee, Brandon; five grandchildren: Andy, Jeff, Kristi, David and Adam; five step-grandchildren, Todd, James, Travis, JoLynn and Angela; three great-grandchildren, Abigail, Jama and Emily; six step-great-grandchildren; one sister Leola Fenicle, Flandreau and one brother George (Albertha) Mogle, Miller, SD. Beula was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday at the Egan United Methodist Church with burial at Hillside Cemetery, Egan. Visitation begins at 2:00 pm Thursday with the family present from 5:00-8:00 pm at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau.
