Andrew C. Tschetter, 80, of Pleasant Valley Colony, Flandreau, SD, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD. Andrew was born on April 29, 1940 to Chris and Rebecca (Gross) Tschetter at New Elm Springs Colony. In 1958 he moved to Big Stone Colony, MN. On September 18, 1960 Andrew was united in marriage to Anna Wollman. They moved to Pleasant Valley Colony in 1977. Together they were blessed with 60 years of marriage and 9 beloved children. Blessed to have shared Andrew's life are: his wife, Anna; 8 children: Judith (Michael) Waldner, Viborg, SD, Esther (Dale) Waldner, Mitchell, SD, Rev. Zacharias (Leah) Tschetter, Flandreau, Sarah (Harold) Hofer, Parkston, SD, Edna (Rev. Simon) Waldner, Elkton, Mark (Wilma) Tschetter, Flandreau, Naomi (George) Hofer, Flandreau, Joseph (Diane) Tschetter, Sioux Falls; 45 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; brothers, Peter, Edward, Henry, Jacob; and his sisters, Lena, Rebecca and Maria. He was preceded in death by his son Mark, parents his in-laws, brother Ernest and his sisters, Sarah and Annie.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2020 at Pleasant Valley Colony, Flandreau with burial in the colony cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday at 3:00 pm at the colony.
